Cabinet mulls legislation that will allow government to bury unclaimed bodies

2

CABINET NOTES: The Cabinet held a discussion on legislation to be adopted that will affect the disposal of unclaimed cadavers.

Several families have refused to accept the bodies of their family members leaving them in the freezers at the funeral homes.

The Cabinet is therefore giving consideration to legislation providing public notice that will allow the government, after a notice period, to move forward with the burial of the unclaimed bodies.

  1. I don’t get this. Are you telling me that there are so many unclaimed bodies in this country that necessitates legislature? Families leaving bodies at funeral homes and unclaimed in freezers? Wow! Our country has really descended into some bottomless abyss.
Or, is there an alternative explanation? No citizen of this country can deny that there is an alarming rise in deaths in this country. Why is this? What are they not telling us?
Incidentally, I checked our vital statistics website to try to confirm in fact if there has been a exponential increase in deaths in Antigua and Barbuda, but alas, no data entry. The last data available was for 2019. Again I ask, why? What are they afraid of?
Our country is shrouded in a cloak of secrecy. All over the world, in countries that mass jabbed their population with the C19 💉💉 we have seen massive increases in deaths. Is this what is happening after this government mandated the killer shot? Just wondering.
