Antigua Carnival 2023 is set to kick off in grand style after months of meticulous planning and preparations.
The eagerly-awaited summer festival will begin with a vibrant parade through St. John, culminating at the transformed Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG) now known as Carnival City.
The renowned Burning Flames band will lead the procession as Grand Marshalls, receiving the keys to Carnival City from the Minister of Creative Industries, Daryll Matthew.
The event will feature appearances by beauty pageant winners, contestants from various competitions, and cultural performances by diverse groups.
The festivities will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display and a lively jam session by the Burning Flames band.
