Barbados and St. Vincent Want LIAT to pay landing fees in advance

2

Cabinet Notes: The Cabinet expressed its disappointment at the treatment which LIAT has received by two CARICOM neighbours.

The Cabinet rejected the notion of LIAT 1974 Ltd. having to re-apply for landing rights or be required to pay landing fees in advance; the reasons were characterized as “subterfuge and trickery”, intended to ensure that LIAT does not succeed.

The demands being made on LIAT are described as restraint on trade since several US bankrupt airlines have been allowed to land and take-off at airports in the USA and in many Caribbean jurisdictions.

Virgin Air is now in such a position and it will continue to land at airports in our Caribbean, the Cabinet remarked.

  2. Emergency foodstuff are the most up-to-date embellishments which may have grocery stores putting up their own varieties on their shelves. Theyre what individuals usually are calling ‘food upon demand’. By simply including water on the packet, foods fanatics can be able to sit a while and enjoy a new wholesome meal.
