Antigua looks to Dominica to help remedy its diminishing Pfizer, AstraZeneca vaccine supply

Antigua and Barbuda is running low on supplies of the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccine and is looking to Dominica and another Caribbean island to fill the gap.

Antigua’s Information Minister Melford Nicholas told a Cabinet press conference on Thursday morning that the government has made a request to Dominica for the Pfizer vaccine and St Vincent and the Grenadines for AstraZeneca.

  1. I notice see that Antigua is buzzing with newly arriving visitors.
    Question : Upon departure if they test positive for Covid 19 where are they quarantined? At the resort, hotel etc. where they were staying? Government approved quarantine facility ?
    How is it possible that departing passengers get a Covid negative test result within 24 hours ?
    Could someone please answer my questions intelligently.

  2. Is it the second jab they are looking for? Only stupid people would ot hold back some for the second dose.
