  1. Take a walk in the neighbourhoods and see what has become of the “legalize marijuana” law.

    A wrong move indeed.

  2. Over the years, we seem to be more focused on facilitating and encouraging marijuana use by new legislation and laws than by education instruction and training that would discourage its use. There is no doubt in my mind that the increased use of marijuana in our society today has put an enormous strain on our medical situation and our ability to deal with the increasing numbers of marijuana users that have become delusional , confused and deranged. We only have to look on the streets and the ever increasing number of persons that cannot catch themselves.
Marijuana use has different impact on different persons and while some people can use it without any visible negative impact, we have seen the unfavorable and adverse effect that it has on a wide cross section of our citizens, especially the youths among us.
Government need to stop pandering to the marijuana special interest. IF WE STAY SILENT AND FAIL TO ROCK THE BOAT IN THIS WAR BETWEEN WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS WRONG, OUR LIVES TODAY MIGHT BE EASIER BUT OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN LIVES WOULD NOT BE.

  3. Yes all members of cabinet need to take a good look. We soon don’t have any right minded young men. Weeds a take them out one by one.

  4. How many of you who comment about walking in the neighborhoods and view, actually walk and view anything extreme. Those young fellas you see smoking were smoking long time before they decriminalize herb. What the government need to do is place a higher tax on grabah and all Tabaco products. If you actually talk to some of those youths you would realize that many of them use more grabah than weed when they smoke. The legal age to possess herb should be looked at and the parents of the younger ones who are smoking need to do their job and discipline their youths. There are many youth men in Antigua who do not smoke and just because some of you see certain groups of youths partaking in herb use you place a general label on majority of young men from certain parts of society and social status, stop generalizing and talk facts, because some of you who are generalizing will be surprised that your own youths ah smoke her behind your backs lol.

  5. My father smoking weed before me born and all now he still a smoke and not one thing wrong with him and he is 77 years old so you tell me that is marijuana causing the youths to behave how they act for today we need to stop pointing fingers and check our self first
