Antigua establishes Rapid Response Team to repair large potholes

The Minister also announced that a Rapid Response Team has been established for the purpose of ensuring that whenever large potholes appear in any street, the Team can be dispatched to make immediate repairs.

The Cabinet anticipates that from time-to-time, especially after heavy rainfalls, potholes will appear in streets that are travelled by motorists.

The Cabinet also decided to bring all quarry and road unit workers up-to-date with owed overtime payments.

The sum of money will be transferred from the Citizenship by Investment Programme to meet the outstanding obligations owed to quarry workers.

  2. This is an absolute JOKE!!! 💯 WHY WAS THIS NOT DONE BEFORE THE ELECTION!? & NOW IT’S A RAPID RESPONSE!? HOW ABOUT FIXING ANCHORAGE AND THE HUGE HOLES ON THE DETOUR STREETS NOW!!? There’s so so so many more lower fort road and in town SMH

  3. What a joke…lets see how that works. Instead of always making promises just do the work needed. You guys don’t give a damn about the people of Antigua. You & your wife’s drive around in fancy cars or are driven. When your car mass up, we the people, with our tax dollars, buy you another. See anything wrong with that picture ? Greedy animals, all of you.

  4. Barbuda is in DIRE need of proper roads especially the one main road that takes you from one end of Codrington to the next, traveling from the Coconut plantation to Two Foot Bay. We need stop signs too with all these imported vehicles that are racing like they are on John I race track. Please and thanks.
