  1. Great initiative! However, the Laws on the books pertaining, to the removal of trees when one is developing a property, need to be implemented, strengthened and enforced!

      • Greetings CErmle, I am not trying to be “right;” I am simply sharing experiences, and thoughts regarding some of what life has brought, and taught me.

        RASpect!

  2. Wonderful I think we should populate the island with hundreds of thousands of fruit trees..

Hope they remember to take care of them after planting…….

    • It could possibly bring into focus, and awareness, regarding such things as erosion, land and soil conservation to the indiscriminate removal of trees, just because, it’s a tree.
There is an indelible link between HUE-mans and trees, in more ways, than one, two or three!

  3. Wonderful! Long overdue trees = life!! If we have a big enough tree planting initiative we breathe life back into everything, everywhere! Clusters of more trees everywhere = mini eco forest systems = more rainfall, in turn forests of real trees deal with co2 emissions and release pure oxygen…. Yes!!! Please bring on the tree planting initiative 🙂
