Antigua and Barbuda has no active cases of COVID-19 for the first time in months

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed no new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Tuesday 15th June 2021 at 6pm.

 

One hundred and eighty (180) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.

 

One (1) recovered case was recorded increasing the total to one thousand two hundred and twenty-one (1221).

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda remains one thousand two hundred and sixty-three (1263).

 

There are no active cases.

 

Meanwhile, thirty five thousand two hundred and fifty-seven (35,257) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered while twenty four thousand three hundred and twenty-five (24,325) second doses were administered.

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

  1. Open the flood gates.Covid-19 saw Antigua and ran like hell from it.Covid-19 cases zero,nada,nothing,zilch. Now I can come to visit along with a million Tourists.I am fully vaccinated and would get a PCR COVID TEST before I come into Antigua.Folks go and take the Astra Zeneca Vaccines for your personal protections and that of your family members and friends.Continue to wear your masks,wash your hands and physical distancing.
