ABLP – SMS – Small Business Registration Form
Dear Constituents,
The Branch of the ABLP’s St. Mary’s South Constituency recognizes the value of a thriving small business sector to the economic welfare of the vibrant communities that make up our constituency.
Being conscious of this, the Branch is dedicated to lending its support to the enhancement of the small business sector by acting as a gateway to meaningful opportunities to amplify the sector’s stability and foster growth. Among these are: small business development training, access to low-cost funding, business guidance and business counselling, networking opportunities and other capacity building initiatives or programs.
To streamline our efforts to providing easier access to these opportunities, the Branch is in the process of creating a comprehensive list of small businesses within the constituency and wishes to encourage all proprietors to register their business via the following link:

Please note that physical forms are also available at the Branch Office in Bolans.
Thanks for your usual kind cooperation and continued support.

What amazing news coming out from the copy-cat party better known as the ABLP.
First they poach many former UPP members, and now they are following a UPP policy and practice like this entrepreneurial business startup program.
They’ll be stealing our manifesto ideas to retain power next!
THEY SOON CHANGE DEM NAME TO UPP.
Aieeeee 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for informing us that no other party or candidate in the Caribbean or the world has ever done business support initiatives by whatever name – Small Business Crawls, Small Biz Train, Small Biz Pop Up etc.
Hopefully others adopt the ideas that the UPP is the first in the world 🤣 to come up with. These bold UPP ideas are certainly ones which no strategist or political consultant or simple scanning of party Facebook pages could suggest. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
And while you’re here sharing your pearls of wisdom please tells us where we can view the UPP business registrations or directories either nationally or in the constituencies. Do they exist online somewhere? Or perhaps there is something printed. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Let the people know man!
Since the UPP is the originator of every good idea that any other party or government many apply (even through most social or other interventions can be found in some form in every island in the region) the almighty UPP MUST be on track for a massive victory next elections! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
UPP ALL THE WAY!
These events can be highly beneficial, if support is truly provided and also internationally advised as overseas entities may be interested in partnering with locals to get authentic products and services.
But this requires real investment and opportunities that political leaders hardly or never provide.
I promise you this, this is an event I would have truly invested in had the ABLP leaders not said they are not able to help me by simply designating my endeavor to be of national importance and substantial merit, so that the licenses (like firearm) I need to operate with some safety of my crime and terrorism victim advocacy and research endeavor that requires me to investigate and submit evidence to US terrorism and crime victim billion dollar funds has the clear and convincing evidence they need to approve applicants for the funds/money they qualify for. This is not an easy job, and you can be in substantial risk of harms doing this job.
Tourist from the US who are victims of crimes will have access to their State’s billion-dollar crime victim funds while abroad, in Antigua, this fund pays for housing (stay longer for court proceedings), transportation to court, counseling (up to $35,000usd in a lot of cases). These are services that they can begin receiving in Antigua and Barbuda and paid to Antigua and Barbuda service providers. Which will have substantial impact on the local economy.
These benefits are also available to Antiguans and Barbudans who are victims of qualifying crimes while in the US but have returned to Antigua.
Amounts as high as $120,000usd such victim could qualify for, and crime and abuse victim visa and green cards.
These funds pay for counseling sessions too that I believe would start a major counseling industry in this Caribbean Island that sand, sea and beach is conducive to emotional and mental health, along with the counseling/therapy.
I wished I had the help I needed from ABLP politicians, but they all ignored me, and even the top, Prime Minister Brown said to my aunt (at a public meeting in Bolans), “I can’t help……”. The only help I needed was to have the police force provide me with the required firearm training that makes the firearm permit they already granted me effective, as the training was mandatory, they said before the permit they granted me becomes effective. Even after providing them with my US certificate of training completion and passes.
My endeavor enhances tourism and safety, it also advocates for Antiguans and Barbudans that is in the US who are victims of vicious crimes. So, they can get all the resources they need, funds/money, immigration status, counseling, medical care, accommodations and to not be victims again. But ABLP said, they cannot help me help you. And daily on this planet their representative constantly confirms when I post this issue, they are right not to help me help you in your horrific situation. This same Bolans and beyond I so badly want to help.
My business would have started its office in Antigua already and for this event, I would have been able to donate up to $100,000.00. Which I still considering doing.
Bolans means so much to me and the people of the United Islands means so much to me and I want to see you have the best and sadly, at this moment, what you have, is not the best you should have already gotten.
I do not believe ABLP cares. It would be reasonable to conclude that based on firsthand knowledge and experience with ABLP and ABLP ministers. They do not care for you or each person’s endeavor to achieve and to make a positive impact.
This is not being said in bad faith, it is being said because of the facts of my experience.
WONDERFUL INITIATIVE! In addition to the Entrepreneurial Development Fund, this is another way to properly support small businesses (not buying 2 corncurls and toilet paper to pose for a photo on the campaign trail)
Nice retort @ Keep it Real! Respect 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Credit where credit is due, dat response nearly quiet me … 😁
@Brixtonian, when you wrote it, I was saying, bad response to this one. I was saying you walked right into this one but you are one of the bloggers I have respect for.
I think I thought of this idea also in 2007, and contacted numerous Antigua politicians about it. But it is such a general idea, hard to say it was stolen from me. So, I keep my mouth shut on this one.
I do think your comment has merit though, you are now saying that ABLP should advance these types of small business support and not just do what has already been done.
Include overseas buyers, invite officers from international companies, local officers of big business, make them want to show up and partner with small businesses. Not just the same old sit at a boot and buy popcorn.
Push them to advance this idea. So, @Brixtonian, your comment still has merit. I need to see more in Bolans with these events. I need to see UPP and ABLP out do each other in this. Which result in progress for the people of Bolans, my people, and Antigua and Barbuda, all my people.
Your comments are much appreciated @ my way of helping.
I recall many years ago, my English teacher said that I had the gift of making people respond to what I’d said, but my weakness was always not going back over what I’d written down. But on the whole what ever I said was dynamic.
I recall as a teenager that there was a buzz amongst my teachers about what I’d put pen to paper to about making the world a better place if there were no politicians around to mislead us.
I’m not perfect, but who is?
Any time @Brixtonian. I do think your contribution is important. Continue.
When I see this guy and some other people who want to be in politics, it’s a vehicle they all want to catch to wealth, nothing in there minds about the country. It’s all about them getting rich
