Given the increasing concerns for player safety with the flooring at the JSC Sports Complex, the highly anticipated ABBA Division one competition will be postponed from its scheduled start date of February 19, 2023.
The safety of all players within the ABBA is of utmost importance to the Executive and we will be working feverishly to ensure that the flooring is up to a standard that is fitting for games.
In this effort, a special meeting is expected to be held where updates will then follow on the way forward for local basketball.
We do apologize to the fans, players, teams and other stakeholders for this unfortunate but necessary delay.
