60 new cases of COVID-19

(Dashboard Update for October 9, 2021)

 

 

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed sixty (60) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday 7th October 2021 at 6pm.

 

 

One hundred and three (103) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and eighty (80) at CARPHA.

 

 

Sixty-five (65) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to two thousand five hundred and eighty (2,580).

 

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand seven hundred and thirty-eight  (3,738); which is inclusive of one thousand and sixty-sevn (1,067) active cases.

 

There are fifty-three (53) hospitalized cases; thirty-four (34) mild, twelve(12) moderate and seven (7) severe.

 

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty four thousand and three hundred and ninety-six (44,396) individuals while ten thousand and eight (10,008) have only received their first dose.

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

  1. The dashboard shows numbers which is useful but can we have a graph to show daily or weekly increases / decreases of the dashboard figures?
    Not everybody can remember the figures from last week or last month

    • write um dung den….I never say this one coming in terms of new demands. So after the graph come I am now starting to thing what next will you people want.

  2. This is an incredibly test positivity rate. It means the community infection rate rate is also very high and the risk for those in schools and other workplaces is through the roof
