19 new cases of COVID-19

(Dashboard Update for March 26, 2021)

 

 

The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John Medical Centre (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed nineteen (19) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday 25th March 2021 at 6pm.

 

 

These new cases were as a result of sixty-three (63) samples processed by MSJMC and one hundred and fifteen (115) processed by CARPHA.

 

 

Thirty-six (36) recovered cases have been recorded bringing the total to seven hundred and eighty-four (784).

 

 

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand one hundred and twenty-two (1122); which is inclusive of three hundred and ten (310) active cases.

 

 

Meanwhile, four hundred and sixty-three (463) Covid-19 vaccines were administered since the last publication.

 

Two hundred and fifty-three (253) individuals were vaccinated on March 25th while two hundred and ten (210) were vaccinated on March 26th.

 

Therefore, the total number of individuals vaccinated is twenty six thousand four hundred and twenty-four (26,424).

 

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
