$10,000 Reward Offered in Connection With Theft of Government Laptops

($10,000 REWARD OFFERED IN CONNECTION WITH THEFT OF GOVERNMENT LAPTOPS)

The Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environment and Civil Service Affairs is offering a reward of Ten Thousand Eastern Caribbean Dollars (EC$10,000.00) to any individual who provides credible information that leads to the identification of the person or persons responsible for the recent theft of thirty (30) Dell Pro 16 PC16250 notebook laptops which were stolen from the Ministry of Health Headquarters.

Members of the public are urged to come forward with any information that may assist in the investigation. All information, no matter how minor it may seem, could prove valuable and will be treated with strict confidence. Persons with information relevant to this investigation are urged to contact the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda by telephone at 462-3913 or 462-3914, or anonymously through the Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-TIPS.

The Ministry also cautions the public against purchasing or accepting any laptops matching the description below. These devices remain the property of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda and are not authorized for sale or distribution. Any person found in possession of these items will be subject to legal action.

    Cause when you can say how much can be afforded in 2026 when at one point we were denied covid stipends, it says lives don’t really matter, only in as much as a life is equal to a vote

  8. Those gadgets must have contained the keys to some lives and possibly freedoms. Maybe the Actogenarian who was ceremonously booted for his rival, had them confiscated and discarded however he saw fit.

  10. If I’m remembering correctly, one of our social groups (rotary , Kiwanis or lion’s) was it not publicized that they made a donation of 30 laptops ? Are these the same laptops that are now missing ?

  13. This is absolutely disgraceful. These aren’t just laptops, they are tools that support healthcare and public services. Whoever did this clearly has no regard for the country or its people. I hope they are caught and made an example of.
