Mishkah John, 33, of Yorks, has been remanded to His Majesty’s Prison after appearing in St John’s Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. He faces murder charges in the December 16 shooting of Jennings resident Javaughn Joseph outside a nightclub on Redcliffe Street. Joseph succumbed to his injuries in hospital, while another individual was also injured in the incident. John, who was detained last week, will return to court on March 17. Magistrate Dexter Wason presided over the proceedings in what marks Antigua and Barbuda’s final homicide case of 2024.
