The incident occurred around 11 PM on a Sunday night while the man was in a parked car with a female companion.

According to police reports, an unidentified car pulled up alongside their vehicle, prompting the Bendals resident to start his car in an attempt to leave.

However, the other vehicle reversed and blocked his path, leading to two gunshots being fired at their car.
