Yepton Antigua Beach Resort: Antigua and Barbuda’s Next Tourism Gem Set for 2024 Construction

4

Antigua and Barbuda anticipate a boost in tourism with the upcoming Yepton Antigua Beach Resort, set to begin construction in Q1 2024.

Despite COVID-19 delays, the project, expected to offer world-class amenities, has been in progress.

Tourism Minister Charles Fernandez notes the hotel’s 150 rooms, spa, and wellness center, aiming for a 4 to 5-star rating.

Concerns about a workforce shortage are eased by the completion of ongoing initiatives like Royalton Sheik and the PLH project before the new resort’s construction begins.

  1. St John’s Rural definitely need construction of proper roads beginning instant. Follow the actions of Rawdon Turner!

  2. All I want to know is if this is the only type of work the people of Antigua and Barbuda can do. We say we are free but we are on a different plantation with the same massa over us and the field slaves watching us. We need to diversify and get away from this mentality that this is all we can do.

  3. As it is right now, Antigua has nothing of worth to attract tourists, so why these so-called investors always talking about building 4/5 stars hotels?
Don’t these so-called negotiators realize yet that these don’t benefit most of the working people in Antigua/Barbuda,cause they are all inclusive?!
