The police are reporting that a postmortem examination conducted on Wednesday 20th October, has revealed that 22yr old Amaya Yearwood of Cedar Grove died as a result of injuries she sustained during a traffic accident.
Yearwood was traveling along the Friars Hill Road on October 3rd when she apparently lost control of the silver Toyota Mark-X motor car she was driving and ran off the road.
She was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, an inquest into the death of Margaret Harris of Wireless Road was held on Wednesday 19th October.
Harris’s body was found dead with multiple injuries on the morning of October 15th at Wireless Road.
The date for a postmortem examination is soon to be determined.
