The government has pledged to cover the medical costs for an employee of the Burma Quarry who sustained severe burns in an explosion.
The Cabinet was presented with a report on the worker’s condition, stating that he is currently recovering in the hospital.
The Ministry of Health has assured the Cabinet that Emergency Medical Services will be provided on-site during future blast operations to ensure the safety of workers.
The incident occurred when attempts were made to remove stored explosive materials.
Although the injuries are not life-threatening, this incident, along with two other accidents involving department workers, has raised concerns among management.
