Observer: A woman, who was described as being hysterical when she allegedly destroyed thousands of dollars’ worth of items in a man’s home, is facing a serious charge of malicious damage.
On the night of March 20, Rosemery Rayes allegedly stormed into the Vernon’s home of the complainant as soon as he opened the door.
The man reportedly locked himself in his bedroom and left the woman in the living room area.
Rayes, of Ottos, allegedly began breaking everything in her line of sight before making her way to the bedroom where she also reportedly broke the door.
The man contacted the police and when they arrived, they apparently observed a number of broken items on the floor and heard the woman crying.
The 27-year-old was said to have been found in a room in tears while holding the man’s hand.
The police arrested and later charged her with malicious damage of a bedroom door, Digicel Wi-Fi box, an Amazon Firestick, a television set, a speaker, bottles of rum, kitchen tiles, an electric kettle, a rug, glassware and other times which together are said to be worth $15,200.
The woman appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel on Thursday and was granted bail in the sum of $20,000, and was ordered to pay $5,000 cash to satisfy the bond.
She also had to provide two sureties, report to a police station three days a week, and surrender her travel documents.
The defendant has to return to the All Saints Magistrate’s Court on April 25 for her committal hearing.

The man should be commended for doing the right thing and calling the police, instead of letting his emotions get the best of him and knocking her out. Kudos to the police for addressing the issue appropriately as well.
If I had the money I would just go and pay and set her free. She is emotionally disturbed and needs some counseling. Don’t know her but I have a soft spot for our women and children.

If a man did this to a woman, he would have been mistreated by the police and he wouldn’t have gotten an easy bail. Justice system and police are corrupt. Mostly because police think they love too much woman.

21 questions- women are much more honest, caring and truthful in relationships. Not saying their is not the odd case. Generally for a woman to do something like this is because she was abused or misused. I think the court should have insisted that the woman received counseling. I am calling on the sisters to took into this woman situation. If she did this without reason still try and get her some counseling. Women need to stand up for and by each other. I grew up hearing of men abusing women and girls. Fathers sexually abusing their daughter, uncles their nieces and male cousins even worst. So she mashed up a few material stuff. What about the sexual or emotional damage this guy probably caused to this sister. If this guy was related to me and he had anything to do with this woman, especially sexually I would be influencing him to go light on her .

Some people have common sense, others do not have any.
One has to be really crazy to do something like that without reason.
Apparently the only valid reasons are visible bruises or wounds, emitional damage, someone constantly lying and manipulating does not count, hence why most men feel like its okay to play with someone emotions and use people for their personal gains then discard that person as if they are worth less than trash.
Not saying that the young lady was right, but if you put some thoughts into it you’d realize that there is so much more to the story than what its being said, and the emotional pain she must had been feeling at the time was probably unbearable.
