SIR MOLWYN JOSEPH’S AIDE HOSPITALIZED FOLLOWING HOME INVASION IN EBENEZER

One of Sir Molwyn Joseph’s assistants at the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment is now in hospital after being stabbed 14 times by an assailant in the early hours of Friday morning.

A tearful Sir Molwyn says the assailant broke into the home of Monifa St John in Ebenezer and attacked her.

Her government-assigned vehicle was also stolen in addition to important documents.

Sir Molwyn says he has since been to the hospital to check on her condition and reports she is in stable condition.

He is hopeful for a full and speedy recovery.

Police are now investigating, but no motive has yet been ascertained. (STATE MEDIA)

  1. Yall should interrogate molwyn and keep him from the victim she might know something he’s trying to hide remember they are already removing files. Those tears might be because the victim is still alive and what are files doing in her posession when they should be in the office. I’m begging her family to keep a watchful eye on her this election can go either way

    • Isn’t it to early for such negative assumptions without knowing the facts . The news said important docs that could mean her personal documents. This was obviously a crime of passion for her to be stabbed so many times . Where does politics comes into play? Wishing the young lady a speedy recovery and hoping the assailant is found and punished .

    All that “PASSION” could be staged.
    So they taking “HER” personal documents and NO OTHER VALUABLES. But Government vehicle.

  8. I pray that she makes a full and speedy recovery, this was a very savage attack on a woman in her home and could have happened to anyone.
    The crime wave is increasing and will increase further with the dumping of destitute people into the country.

    A sad and trying situation no doubt!

    In crimes of this nature…
    A…Investigators usually look at close relatives and friends to eliminate them as early, as possible

    B…14 Stab wounds but none cause immediate death.
    (i)….Perp could be sending a message.
    (ii)…could be a Crime of Passion.

    C…why aren’t all government owned vehicles equipped with GPS systems such as those which track cell phones? Moving to the #NEXT_LEVEL beyond, the Economic Powerhouse 🧐requires NEXT LEVEL Policing with tools and resources to match.

    D…politicians never let a good crisis go to waste.

  10. Hopefully this lady has not been attacked because of her political views and closeness to one of the political leaders of our beloved country. Come Thursday 19th January we will still be Antiguans and Barbudans living in the same space and getting along with each other. Maybe whoever attacked her like that will be caught, tried and imprisoned for most of his/her productive life. It simply is not worth it my peoples. We are better than this.

  12. No political arguments should be going on around this young lady, who is struggling for her life because of this hideous crime committed against her. All political parties should be praying for her.
    I have not met her personally but my wife said to me “ this is one of the most hard working, gentle, and upbeat individual you can come across.
    Young lady I wish you a speedy recovery both physically and mentally. Your physical wounds will heal much much faster than your mental scars. This is our daughter, our sister, our niece , cousin, let’s find this criminal and bring him to justice. I said him , yes I can put my head on the block that it is a him.
