Thirty-five-year-old Elon Ketwaroo was remanded to prison when she appeared in court today.
The woman was charged with murder for allegedly stabbing Carmona “Farmer” Samuel to death last Wednesday.
Samuel, a well-known farmer, was found dead on the stairs of his home at Gilbert’s Estate after police officers went to investigate a report, allegedly made by the defendant.
Ketwaroo is, according to reports, Samuel’s ex-lover, and they allegedly had a domestic dispute which led to the killing.
The woman, who was hospitalised with multiple stab wounds following the incident, was later released from the hospital and taken into custody.
She will make her second court appearance in December.
