Woman Accuses Visiting Transgender Man of Attack at St. John’s Guest House

On June 18, an altercation took place between a visiting individual who identifies as a man and his on-and-off girlfriend.

The incident occurred at a guest house, prompting the woman to report the assault to the St. John’s police station.

She sought medical attention and provided a completed medical form detailing injuries to her lip, cheek, and knee.

The next day, the defendant, a biological woman, was arrested and charged with battery.

The court learned that the two parties were involved in a fight, resulting in a cut on the defendant’s lip.

Despite an apology, the court ordered the defendant to compensate the victim $500 and mandated that both individuals stay away from each other.
