West Indies Oil Company has moved to calm jitters about the supply of gasoline in the market, as it says a ship has now docked with fresh supplies.

WIOC Chief Executive Officer, Gregory Georges says the vessel’s docking had been delayed over the weekend, as it was scheduled to have dropped anchor on Saturday.

WIOC says while some service stations had run low, the market will be fully supplied with the product by Tuesday morning.

WIOC has also assured there are adequate supplies of diesel in the market.

  2. Blame all things WIOC on the Seas. Gregory Georges, did WIOC not pay their creditors on time.In my opinion,WIOC should have at least One month supply of all products used on hand at all times.

  3. Mr.Georges as most people in high position in Antigua you lied to us on national TV. You said that WIOC do not store LPG and due to the bad weather you had a problem with LPG.
You went on to say that gasoline, diesel and airplanes fluid no problem. Borford asked you to repeat to assure the motorists. You said we are fully stocked on those and also have stored for another person which you can use. So why From yesterday afternoon and more so this morning the gas stations are out of gas. Now you are saying that the vessel has docked.
Anyhow when God’s hand of change is on the button nothing man can do to change it. Things will just go bad left, right and center. God is in control he put up and he take down. Remember life and death is apart of his will also. No man is invincible. Power is God’s!

    • Yes we are stocked, but don’t you see cars driving around? The stocks will go low until more stocks can arrive.

Look at it like a sugar bowl….

You top it up but you’re using it everyday and it runs low and out, but until you top it up again it will stay empty.
