Natherna Rodgers, one of two women charged in a larceny case involving a large collection of wigs, has had her bail conditions modified.

Rodgers and Moesha Wright are charged with receiving wigs and other hair products valued at $127,675, making it an indictable offense.

The theft occurred between March 31 and April 1 when Everything Hair 268.

Initially granted bail in April at $50,000 each with a $5,000 cash component, Rodgers informed the court she couldn’t meet the cash requirement.

Consequently, the Magistrate reduced her cash bail to $2,500, while Wright had already paid her $5,000.

The committal hearing, originally set for July 10, has been rescheduled to September 12.

  3. WHO IS THE WIG THIEF? …WIGS AND FIGS?

Professionally speaking, ‘…Larceny and Receiving Stolen Property,’ go together.

Next to these is ‘…UNLAWFUL POSSESSION.’

    NOW:

If these females stand charged with:

    (a) ‘…RECEIVING STOLEN WIGS; then

    QUESTION

    (b) …Why was there no mention of the ‘…WIG THIEF/THHIEVES?’

    HUMOR

Well, if it was a ‘…Bunch of Fig,’ though wrong, one could still understand.

But a ‘…Box of Wigs,’ darn it.

Could never be worn on ‘…One Head.’

Oh! For comfortable sleep, stuffed in a ‘Pillow,’ good to go under the head.

    Sleep ’til morning.
