(AP) — The COVID-19 pandemic is “most certainly not over,” the head of the World Health Organization warned Sunday, despite a decline in reported cases since the peak of the omicron wave. He told governments that “we lower our guard at our peril.” CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHATSAPP GROUP.
The UN health agency’s director-general, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, told officials gathered in Geneva for opening of the WHO’s annual meeting that “declining testing and sequencing means we are blinding ourselves to the evolution of the virus.” He also noted that almost 1 billion people in lower-income countries still haven’t been vaccinated.
In a weekly report Thursday on the global situation, WHO said the number of new COVID-19 cases appears to have stabilized after weeks of decline since late March, while the overall number of weekly deaths dropped.
While there has been progress, with 60 percent of the world’s population vaccinated, “it’s not over anywhere until it’s over everywhere,” Tedros said.
“Reported cases are increasing in almost 70 countries in all regions, and this in a world in which testing rates have plummeted,” he added.
Reported deaths are rising in Africa, the continent with the lowest vaccination coverage, he said, and only 57 countries — almost all of them wealthy — have vaccinated 70 percent of their people.
While the world’s vaccine supply has improved, there is “insufficient political commitment to roll out vaccines” in some countries, gaps in “operational or financial capacity” in others, he said.
“In all, we see vaccine hesitancy driven by misinformation and disinformation,” Tedros said. “The pandemic will not magically disappear, but we can end it.”
Tedros is expected to be appointed for a second five-year term this week at the World Health Assembly, the annual meeting of the WHO’s member countries.

With the utmost respect Director-General, we are now over 2 years down the line with this Covid-19 virus, and the majority of people have informed themselves and read about the VAERS reporting system regarding serious vaccine injuries and deaths in all ages.
The WHO can continue to talk about misinformation, disinformation and vaccine hesitancy, but the REAL truth is that the critical thinkers have all done their due diligence, and found that what we were being told by people like you and your ilk, sir, from the outset, was the real source of MISINFORMATION.

A wey de bull bud to bang Tedros across the back. He is in the pockets of the Chinese. The WHO is a Chinese operated Organization. It took over 2 years before they sent a team into Wuhan, China to investigate the Pandemic.
After 2 years and people still uninformed??? Lies!! When I speak to my “vaccinated” friends, it is clear to me that the reason they took it was because they had no idea about the effects of spike protein, lipid nano particles and synthetic RNA (Not to mention they wanted to keep their job). The crime is, all this is documented in Pfizer’s application to the FDA. When the FDA was sued to release the documents (which are public property anyway) they asked for 75 years to review and remove any sensitive information before releasing it. This is particularly shocking when you consider it only took them 2 months to approve the application…2 MONTHS! They obviously did not read those documents.

The new Pandemic Treaty states that if the WHO sees the need they can declare a pandemic in any member country WITHOUT consulting the local government. Subsequently they can implement any measures they see fit and none of this would be subject local laws or constitution. Call Gaston and tell him to put de pen down now!!!
If PM Browne signs on to the new expanded controls at the World Health Assembly, then both he and Tedros should both be hauled before the Nuremberg 2.0 court for crimes against humanity.
Even if that form of justice doesn’t happen, PM Browne and the cohorts in his criminal cabal that masquerades as a legitimate government should be voted out of office for the tortuous two years he put the people of Antigua through.
For this alone, Gaston Browne should be kicked out of office.
He’s putting the citizens of Antigua at grave risks and serious harms to the whims and control of the WHO, without local, national and international consultations.
If our Prime Minister signs up to this, he’s not only giving away our sovereignty, but putting us all in grave danger for future WHO PLANDEMICS …
… and furthermore, Brazil 🇧🇷 have recently rejected the WHO proposal, because they want to keep their autonomy and independence from outside influences. Excellent!

This is not about vaccination, it’s about getting people to sign up for a card. They don’t care how protected you are, as long as you took the shot and put your name in their database. It could have been over a year ago. Even if the shots were somehow effective, their narrow protection is all based on a sliver of the genetic sequence of the original Wuhan wildtype, which has been displaced by several subsequent variants.
