WATCH: Prime Minister Mia Mottley has announced that Barbadians will go to the poll on January 19, 2022.

1. Bold move. Leadership at its best. Putting country and governance before one’s own self interest.

   • A snap election is always self serving and never in the interest of the people.

     If your mandate is 5 years and you have not completed your manifesto pledges, a snap election is contrary to the 5 year good will contracted by the people.

     Selfish self serving deceit and certainly not in the public’s best interest.

   • Ha, ha, ha! If you believe this, then you are living in a dream. Mottley called the election because there was a move by nearly half of sitting representatives to remove her as PM. She is therefore acting in her self interest, and not that of the country.

     I have watched with amusement when people like you praise her and try to suggest that she is somehow a better leader than PM Gaston Browne. I guess the grass always looks greener to those on the outside, eh?

     • Your so correct in one way self interest 17 of her people were going to the president this morning to remove her as leader and some cowardly spy spill the beans as for comparison she and dictator Brown should be in a shark guts awaiting judgement.

     • Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

     • Gaston Browne is like a baby with a big empty head. He thinks he is the smartest leader in the Caribbean and hates to think that there is leader of substance in the Caribbean that is not him.

2. Pull up your panties and tighten you girdle Mia. Remember what Lovell did to Joanne Massiah.

     Lovell didn’t do a damn thing to Joanne. In fact, he probably hurt himself in the party because when the membership decided to cast her out, he was the one who insisted no. Some kind of long time dey wid thing.
     Joanne ran the UPP ragged. She was a terror at Agriculture and really took it to the now deceased Minister. Her behavior during the leadership thing was atrocious. Lovell was mainly responsible for the long time it took the party to get rid of her. Some of us All Saints people wanted him to transfer here and still can’t forgive him for his chupidness.
     He insisted the members don’t talk to the press about what she did, and because of that she beat his backside in the media with her baby voice. Up till now, people still don’t know the true reasons she is out of the UPP because only her story was told. UPP still has not learn anything about media politics.

3. Pull up what? I don’t think she wears them. She has more ⚾️⚾️ than our PM.

   • Y’all really suffering from memory lost around here. Did y’all forget what y’all were saying in 2018 when Gaston Browne called a snap election?
