Representatives of a Turkish billionaire have happily taken hold of Alfa Nero, the embattled super yacht.

The vessel was sold for US$ 40 million.

Earlier today the crew handed back to the government a sign that had been placed on the luxury vessel that stated it was the property of Antigua and Barbuda.

  1. Who in their right mind would buy this yacht? Aren’t they concerned that superpower Russia will simply take it back?? Saying they bought it from Antigua means absolutely nothing. Perhaps though the billionaire owners decided to just buy back the boat through some intermediary then continue the lawsuit against us. Still feel that this is going to end bad for us.

  2. To whom it might concern, et al: I am stating right here and now that, I am demanding that my (USD)10% finder’s fee be deposit, and cleared into my account at Gaston Browne (GB) Indigenous Bank Of Antigua 🇦🇬 Barbuda, pronto: and further state that; all attendant ancillary fee attached thereto, be manifested and gazette for continued people’s demand for transparency and, accountability of the tangible effects brought to St.Paul’s for the negative impact visited on the local citizens of Falmouth Harbour environ or, the “Alpha Negro” will get away no further than Cades Reef from Antigua for an ubiquitous ceremonial scuttling. Ah! But we could repurpose it for the Montserrat 🇲🇸 Barbuda Ferry. Nah! That’s more like (LIAT) transitioning money, for the creamers of creative enrichment scheme. Finder’s Fee, eh! More like CIP: Sell Out/ Sell Off like Antiguans suffer from Embedded Negro Scorn.

  3. How is it that this sale was done when there is still an ongoing litigation in the courts. Should not said ongoing litigation halt all and any sale. The gentleman from the US was will to pay some 60 plus million for the sake now it is sold for 40 quite a huge reduction
