  1. Wasn’t this the same way the police officer died and they charged the lady in the jeep so therefore the police driving the truck should be charged to

  2. It appears that the Cop was making a right turn and collided with the bike. The Biker had the right of way. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

  5. Sooooo…. All of the above persons commenting are simply ignoring that fact that the biker was smack in the middle of the road and failed to stop or slow down at an upcoming junction? Seen. Is so we stay in this place called Antigua… We defend the wrongdoers and then wonder why lawlessness seem to be thriving.

  6. Wait, is how long y’all have your license for? The bike had right of way. The truck was obligated to wait until the path was clear of oncoming traffic before making a turn. Not because you turn on your indicator means that you have right of way! You still have to wait, otherwise you are throwing yourself into oncoming traffic. Who say that they see you? Who says that their reaction time is quick enough to slow down and stop? People don’t use their brain anymore, everybody just think they automatically have right of way. Just so the bike man woulda lost his life, not that Im condoning the bike man actions either, because he an all min dey pon some skunt. But the truck automatically get wrong.

  7. I HOPE THE BIKER IS OKAY, BUT HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN OBSERVING THE SPEED LIMIT, NOT TO MENTION, HE IS RIDING IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA AND NOT ON A RACE TRACK. SO I QUESS BOTH PARTIES SHARE THE BLAME IN THIS ONE.

  8. The Police pickup did not stop. Even though the indicator was on, the bike had the right of way. Not because it is the police, there were no emergency lights or Sirens blazin. He obviously tried to beat the bike to it. At first I thought that the police tried to stop the bike by pulling out into the road suddenly but that wasn’t the case either. THE POLICE MADE A TURN WHEN IT WAS NOT SAFE TO DO SO CROSSING THE LANE OF INCOMING TRAFFIC. PUTTING ON YOUR INDICATORS DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT OF WAY!
Many drivers need to go back to drivers Ed and stop interpreting the rules to suite them. If everyone complies with the road code, no one will have to worry about these incidents. There is a difference between an “ACCIDENT” and “NEGLIGENCE”.

  9. I replayed that about 50 times, that was not an accident collision but the officer intentionally ran into that biker. I wonder what imminent and substantial danger the biker was putting the public in for the police to have used such force?

That without the justification I highlighted above, this would be aggravated assault, aggravated battery, mayhem, malicious distruction, attempted murder (if still alive, the biker) and if dead, it will certainly be a homicide (1 or 2 degree murder).

That was truly horrible seeing the bike and man tumbled constantly and from the actions of an officer.

When I said reduce opportunities for crimes, I did not say reduce opportunities to live.

  10. I do not know.Who is right bor wrong in that accident. However, that motor bike rider was going very, very, fast for that area.Just hoping he was not hurt.

  11. HEY @Wharf Rat, the rider was in his lane, the left lane, on Antigua, and have full control of that lane. The officer, without lights and even with lights, must turn only when it is clear to do so to cross a lane in which it is not driving in.

Here, the officer was legally wrong and after reviewing the video again, I realized it was not intentional but at maximum a reckless disregard for safety of others.

However, the police vehicle was entering into the lane of the motorbike rider and the motorbike rider control his lane, always. It is when it is clear a vehicle can cross into the lane it is not driving on.
