  1. I admire you as an individual, you seem to be passionate about education, but when the teachers needed you the most during the covid-19 you buckled under pressure and resigned. Indicating that you would do the same if you get a little pressure. All the best nevertheless

  2. Thanks to LABOUR Party 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 it started with V.C. BIRD, continued under Lester Bird and now the new era with GASTON BROWNE.

  3. @ The RENAISSANCE
For you information the only RENAISSANCE will be in CORRUPTION it’s what the Labour Party excels in, that’s not our idea of RENAISSANCE we need at this time. Time for you to step out of the age of the DINOSAURS. In this age of free education you ought to know better

  4. @ The Renaissance

lol, you guys are so pathetic.

The education revolution in this country started under Baldwin Spencer- so many scholarships were given over the 10 years. No other government have and could match that.

  5. @u tink people far got

Actually, the “education revolution” started under Lester Bird who first introduced the Education Levy that so many people benefitted from.

Those old enough to remember will recount how it was Baldwin Spencer who shut the country down when the deductions started back in the late 90’s I think. At the time, I was paid bi-weekly and my deductions were $10.00 each paycheck. $20 whole dollars a month.

  6. And now we have the UWI FIVE ISLANDS CAMPUS thanks to LABOUR Party Gaston Browne, Michael Browne, Cutie Benjamin et al

  7. Acutally I would say that the “education revolution” started with (Progressive Labour Movement) building a number of Government School (Primary and Secondary). I would believe that the PLM was also responsible for the Antigua Grammar School and the Antigua Girls High School becoming public schools.

  8. The thing I realize for some time now the people who support Labour do not know the political history of this country. The nonsense you hear from them you wonder if they were living under a rock or something

  9. @Uatu Vere Cornwall Bird was responsible for AGHS and AGS becoming public schools. PLM Otto Comprehensive School. If my memory serves me well the school might have started in the old treasury building on high Street.

  10. Vere Cornwall Bird was responsible for AGHS AND AGS becoming public schools. Otto Comprehensive School can be credited to PLM. If my memory serves me the school was first located in the old treasury building on High Street.

  11. Vere Cornwall Bird was responsible for AGHS and AGS becoming public schools. If my memory serves me PLM began Ottos Comprehensive School in the old treasury building on High Street.
