Senior Counsel Anthony Astaphan has indicated that a procedural issue has emerged in Prime Minister Gaston Browne’s lawsuit against a U.S.-based Lawyer, revealing that service of documents was not carried out in accordance with required rules.

Speaking on the Browne and Browne programme, Astaphan said that while the law firm was properly served, the rules require that the lawyer be served personally.

  1. In other words you don’t know what the hell you’re doing because unless the lawyer was at the time when he was alleged to have made the statement which cause harm, yes the company in this case, the law firm can be held liable but the question is whether or not the lawyer was acting on his own behalf by making a statement? So, was there a gag order issued by the presiding judge over the Alfa Nero case?
The public needs to know whether or not the treasury is picking up the tab for these lawsuits involving the Alfa Nero?
Apparently Gaston is now coming to grips with who he’s actually up against and is hoping praying for the best. Is it a fact that he’s dropping the lawsuit for want of evidence, so you are now preempting the announcement with more deflections?
