The Authority wishes to inform the general public that the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) is the agency mandated by law to collect, transport, and dispose of solid waste in Antigua and Barbuda.

Due to the passage of Tropical Storm Ernesto on Tuesday 13th August 2024, the collection of household waste will be delayed for the residents in the communities across the Island.

In today’s schedules the following areas will be experiencing delays. We are however working to resolve the issue promptly.

The weather was yesterday.Customers have been calling into the Radio Station about their garbage not picked up for the past 3 weeks.So to you,Waste Management,what are the issues.Get your damn crap of an act together.Picking up the trash weekly is your responsibility.You have been doing a lousy job at it.

  2. If only that was true. I am in potters and all gabbage has not been collected for 3 weeks. Ernesto didn’t cause that. That’s just an excuse. We have the worst garbage collection at this point. When you drive thru the villages and you see garbage stacked high that have not been emptied for weeks so the storm has nothing to do with it.
