Vitz stolen in  Liberta from robbery victim is found – stripped – among bushes in Parham area


REAL NEWS: The silver Toyota Vitz, A65894, that allegedly was stolen during a robbery on
Friday, May 10, in Liberta has been recovered by the Police. 

Reports say the theft was reported to the Liberta Police Station after armed
robbers invaded the home of a Liberta man and his girlfriend from whom they
also stole money.

However, as a result of certain information the Police received, they went on
duty in the Parham area; there, they discovered the Toyota Vitz concealed
among some bushes near the back road that leads to the village.

transported to Police Headquarters for investigation purposes.

The home-invaders reportedly took up the keys for the vehicle when they fled
the scene with cash that had been sitting on an end table. The Vitz had been
parked outside.

Reportedly, the robbers had entered the house through the living room by
way of a push-up window that fronts the verandah. 

Apparently, the window had been broken sometime before, since there were
no remnants of shattered glass on the verandah or on the living room floor.
Neither were there any foot trails on the floor. 

Although the car has been recovered, investigations into the robbery continue.
