Vitz Car Flips Multiple Times, Bursts into Flames, Miraculous Escape for Driver

REAL NEWS: The Traffic and Fire Departments are investigating an accident
involving a Vitz motor car that burst into flames after flipping
several times.

It is alleged that the vehicle, along with another Vitz, was part of a
race in the Horsford Hill area on Tuesday morning, September 12.

Reportedly, one driver lost control of his car and it began to flip
multiple times, eventually landing next to the gate of a nearby
church.

Reports say the vehicle then burst into flames.

It is alleged that the driver of another vehicle, a blue car that was not
part of the race, was forced to swerve to avoid the tumbling car that
was headed toward him.

To avoid being hit by the black Vitz, the man hurriedly turned onto a
nearby side road, but ended up slamming into a fence.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Vitz suffered some injuries – but eye
witnesses are surprised that the incident was not fatal, given the
number of times the vehicle rolled before bursting into flames.

Some persons say the incident was remarkably like an action movie
in the way the vehicle became airborne and then began to flip.

Thick plumes of black smoke billowed from the burning car before
emergency vehicles from the Fire Department arrived on the scene
and extinguished the blaze.

  1. There are three-speed bumps at the church; clearly, this is a 15MPH zone. Falmouth’s main road is a built-up area. Not a 40-mile speed zone. Sweet T’s, Bailey’s Supermarket, Crab Hole Liquors, Warehouse, Businesses and Cobbs Cross School. We need Speed signs and enforcement all around Antigua. Speed signs are the priority all around Antigua. How much is just one life worth?

  2. I’m not sure if omitting spaces between words is a new thing in journalism, if not, please ensure that you read through the article for grammar and spelling before publishing.

On another note, I truly hope that this driver learns his lesson and that he is banned from driving for at least 5 years and required to do a driving test including the written and practical tests before being allowed to drive again. Someone could have lost their life.

  3. Young man you need to be a street pastor after all this. You’re blessed, just saying.
On another note a realize built up communities, some drivers are not adhering to the speed requirements. Hell they don’t adhere to traffic laws period. Someone slammed into me a few weeks ago just for not paying attention.
Someone mentioned stiffer penalties. That ain’t gonna happen, cause it’s a fren and company thing up in this place.

  4. And they still will not abide by the stop signs when they put them up most times these accidents occurred by the fact that they keep driving in the middle of the road and then have to pull away when there’s oncoming traffic and lose control. I’m just saying
