This initiative aims to bolster tourism, business, and cultural exchanges by strengthening diplomatic ties and increasing interpersonal interactions between the two nations.

However, visas are still required for non-tourist activities such as study, work, and media engagements.

China, a key development ally for Antigua and Barbuda, continues to play a crucial role in various sectors including infrastructure, education, and climate initiatives, reinforcing a partnership aimed at mutual growth and cooperation.

  1. “Mutual growth and cooperation” wake up and smell the coffee!! Just call this country Little China and have done with it. I suppose that as China’s lapdog Antigua will also be supporting Putin? Get real, see what you’re being pulled into!!

    • Gaston Browne and his merry menv have been made fools of, not a difficult task. How many Antiguans want to travel to China except politicians? On the other hand Chinese will be encouraged by their government to come to Antigua and will never return to their homeland. Talk about dumb and dumber, you couldn’t make it up.

  2. • @ Nuff Fu Chu

Are you and ‘Less We Forget’ a part of the same choir?

You sound as dumb as they come.

      • It takes one to know one!!!
Thank you for your perspective. Diversity of opinion is essential for meaningful discussions. Let’s strive to engage in respectful dialogue that encourages mutual understanding and growth.

  3. So, how many Antiguans and Barbudans are just dying to visit China? Chinese tourists are just rushing to come here?
Look, get us back the visa-free to Canada. Then, perhaps I will applaud.

    • Yeah man, we are visa free to Canada. Just the ESTA you fill out, and once you’re approved, you board the flight and go

  4. This is a disastrous route go take for a little island nation like Antigua. One can expect Antigua to be flooded with Chinese nationals, lots of Chinese retail outlets and Chinese restaurants over the next 5 years or so. Chinese would be the new Syrians in our homeland. You don’t have to look too far to see the effects of the Chinese on a country. Jamaica is flooded with them and they control a sizable portion of the economic space in Jamaica. They are also into road construction and commercial building construction. Bad move by the government.

  5. No Visas required by Chinese to visit Antigua. Now,they would be out numbering the Nationals. For dem a go come and nar goo back a China.

  6. Let the overdosing begin.
Fentanyl to fake foods to highly processed foods will flood Antigua like a tsunami.

  7. You get what you vote for. Now you should be happy with your people you voted for because they all looking out for you and doing the best for you.

Keep voting them in. Or keep giving away your vote for driver’s license and all the rest of the bribes they do every year and every election.

They living like kings while you can’t even take care of your family.

You have no right to complain.
