This is a disastrous route go take for a little island nation like Antigua. One can expect Antigua to be flooded with Chinese nationals, lots of Chinese retail outlets and Chinese restaurants over the next 5 years or so. Chinese would be the new Syrians in our homeland. You don’t have to look too far to see the effects of the Chinese on a country. Jamaica is flooded with them and they control a sizable portion of the economic space in Jamaica. They are also into road construction and commercial building construction. Bad move by the government.
