Villa’s Brandon Murphy faced larceny and receiving charges at St. John’s Magistrates’ Court this morning.
He’s accused of stealing $15,647.82 worth of items, including gold jewelry, a Samsung Galaxy, a bank card, IDs, and cash on Bishop Gate Street on September 23.
Arrested on Independence Day, he was granted bail, awaiting a committal hearing on January 30.
Recent reports also mention a theft at the New Bethel SDA Academy in Liberta, where the administration office was burglarized between 12 am and 6 am on October 30, resulting in a $300 loss.
