Minister Daryll Matthew announced that the National Festivals Commission and the Ministry of Creative Industries will hold a candlelight vigil on Sunday, August 11, to honor Keith Yearwood, a former staff member who passed away suddenly during the World Cup T20 matches at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
Yearwood was praised as a dedicated volunteer who always fulfilled his duties without complaint.
The vigil will take place outside the Festival Commission office on Redcliffe Street.
Yearwood’s burial is set for Monday, August 12.
