UPP Confirms Adrian Williams as Candidate, Full Slate to Be Ratified April 7
Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle has confirmed that Adrian Williams will represent the United Progressive Party (UPP) in the St. John’s City South constituency in the upcoming general election, following a meeting of the party’s Central Executive Committee.
Speaking after the April 1 meeting, Pringle said Williams’ membership in the St. George branch had been formally ratified, clearing the way for his candidacy. He added that he exercised constitutional authority to waive the required waiting period, allowing Williams to contest the seat.
Pringle also announced that the party’s full slate of candidates will be presented for ratification by the General Council on April 7, a step that will formally complete the UPP’s selection process ahead of the polls.
He thanked party branches and candidates for completing the internal processes leading up to the final approval stage, as the opposition prepares for the election campaign.

The way UPP completely imploded in 3 years needs to be studied. The UPP announcing their candidate for St. John’s City South a couple of weeks before the election tells you how disorganized and hopeless they are. The poor guy is being thrown to the wolves by his own party and will be lucky if he gets 30% of the vote. Why bother?

With all that’s happening as a result of their party’s ineptitude, they are throwing every bit of their energy into something that has nothing to do with them. I have said before that the minute Adrian’s involvement is confirmed, they would descend on him like a tsunami. Some of them are craving to go to the USA but can’t and we know why; they are unable to do their laundry for the obvious reason and are now preparing to swarm APUA to get a reprieve for utility bills that they have been unable to pay for years , but all that is secondary to Adrian Williams becoming a member of the United Progressive Party. If a thief can become the Prime Minister of this country, then anybody can become a candidate for the United Progressive Party.
The irony of this illegitimate “candidate” is not lost on the electorate. UPP HATES FOREIGNERS and now since they are desperately desperate, they have to resort to the “bottom of the barrel”.
