Theft of 26 Toilets Reported at Affordable Homes Antigua Site

Affordable Homes Antigua says it is dealing with a significant theft after 26 toilets and other construction items were stolen from a site container last week.

In a brief statement posted online, the company said it was “feeling emotional” about the incident, which it described as a major setback to its operations.

No details were provided on the exact location of the site or the value of the stolen items. It is also unclear whether the matter has been reported to police or if any suspects have been identified.

The theft highlights ongoing concerns about security at construction sites, particularly as building activity increases across the country.

  1. Nah man. Somebody have serious diarrhea to need so much toilets.

They need to check out shipments leaving the country because something is going on.

  2. Sounds like another “inside” job!

Anyone who is involved in building a home or houses, you deliver the materials when they are needed or to be installed. This is not rocket science.

I recently replaced a bathroom sink, and left the old damaged one outside to be disposed of later in the day. Once I’d installed the new one, the old was gone/taken/stolen – gone ah gwassa!

It would have been nice if they’d come and asked me, I would have given it to them.

  3. I tell you boy….I am just waiting to read a story that someone caught a thief and either burn or chop off their hands.

    I am waiting patiently….

  4. How stupid can one be to leave two containers with valuable items on a building site unsecured. The very same contractors that helped you place the containers there will inform their friends about the loot.
