Costume Island Antigua is asking for the public’s help to identify a man captured on CCTV breaking into its Newgate Street location at about 23:50 on Sunday, 26 April.
The suspect is described as about 5ft 7in tall, fair in complexion and of medium build, with a “TRUE LOVE” tattoo on his right forearm.
He was wearing a red and white ALP shirt, black trousers, a red New York cap, black tennis shoes and a grey, black and white ski mask.
A quantity of items was stolen, including jewellery, sunglasses, a silver HP laptop and other accessories.

Anyone with information is urged to contact CID at 462-3913 or call 728-7170. Receiving stolen goods is a criminal offence.

However, what I will mention is that in the run-up to the recent General Election, many promises and pledges were made by Gaston Browne and his ABLP Members; but tackling rising crime wasn’t one of them.
Hopefully, if any of our Members of Parliament see this troubling photograph, they’ll not only come out and condemned this wanton and hrass-necked theft, but also respond to the ever growing criminal activities in general.
