UPDATE:

Samantha Marhsall MP: Visited Crab Hill this morning to assess the damage to the road and possible cause.

In recognising that this roadway is critical to access to and from the southern corridor of the island, I’ve already contacted Public Works and other relevant agencies to initialise a plan of action to carry out repairs.

EARLIER REPORT:

An extensive crack is visible on Crab Hill Road.

This cause is believed to be recent rains, however this has not been confirmed.

The relevant authorities are investigating.

  1. Oh my. Hope it is not another road that will start and would remain untouched for 9 months plus then it only gets attention after the people rile up. By the way everyone knows resources are thin where the government is concerned. Cant civic minded people assist. Take for instance that trench that was dug on nevis street to facilitate connection to the man who acts as governor general sometimes. Couldnt he assist? Another mumma hole is just outside Epicurean at the entrance/exit to the west. cant Barret arrange for that to get some sugar cake?

  2. Everything in this country run down and need to fix. Vax talk take over now and it come like nothing tarl matter but COVID. This govt sleeping on the job. Jesus fix it quick. The ship is sinking. The govt only talk about saving life from COVID. How about road safety. This country really gone to the dogs!

  3. Fixed for another few months to bruk and get fixed again?

All Bullsheet Lying Politicians (ABLP) continue to do half assed work while taking bribe money under the table.

  4. Did the Members of Cabinet walked on that road? Have you seen their sizes lately? Their combined weight could sink an Aircraft Carrier.
