  3. At last,a reflection of the state of affairs in Antigua and Barbuda and not the infamous weekly UPP deflections.
    When will Antiguans and Barbudans realize that we are the power. Not APUA, the politicians, or whatever.
    These APUA bills will never be resolved unless the people speak up. A barrage of public outcry, equating to negative publicity will always go along way.

  5. This is a simple matter as you have video proof of it so they will have to adjust it after the come and investigate. That’s the issue as I called APUA and reported mine and they sent someone to investigate if I had a leak or it was the air.

However, sorry about your experience, the answer to that is, remember you are in Antigua and locals, their self-esteem is so low, and sadly, they are so ignorant, they have no clue how to identify the ones who wants the best for them (wanting nothing in return) and those that are desperate for a job only and mainly to make themself and theirs wealthy.

    When your leaders do not go above and beyond for you, you know they are not leaders and they do not deserve the positions.

    In 2024, there should be no water struggle, on a small island surrounded by water.

    In 2024, no politicians should be running on a platform that I will clean gutters, this should be the norm.

    I promise you this, if I ever become interested in politics, I am running on the platform that I will arrest corrupt politicians, cease all money they have through abuse of their position, conflict of interest and fraud/theft etcetera.

    I promise you every dime they own I would go after and return to the people of Antigua and Barbuda. I would also bring in US and British prosecutors to assist me in this return of funds back to Antiguans. You will see how wealthy locals become.

    This statement is not just towards one part but to all political parties that participated in these kinds of abuse, deception, and theft.

    @ANR – Reporters, it would be nice, real nice, you know kinda #ANTIGUA_NICE, if the reader could get an in depth INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING on this. ALLEGATION, being made by this property owner. This is a REAL STORY, and if proven to be true MUST have serious implications for those responsible.

    @Human…it seems like you have had similar experience(s) with this vexing and troubling issue, of high water bills.
    To get beyond the [chaff], idle chatter and pointing fingers, a thorough t INDEPENDENT FORENSIC INVESTIGATION must be done by an investigative team comprising law enforcement, engineers, auditors and customers.

    This is beyond Mr. Byam’s RED_WHITE_BLUE lense, of partisan politics.

    It would be great, if APUA can prove this allegation, to be false. They can send out their investigative team along with a video crew to document the whole undertaking.

    Skye’ video reminds me of Molwyn doing his WPP – Wadadli Power Plant tours to expose another, alleged rip off involving APUA.

  8. This gentlemen has done the right thing by documenting the issue and hopefully this wiil motivate APUA to visit him and inspect what the hell is going on. Document their inspection and keep those plumbers receipts!

    I read the following comment that someone wrote on the YouTube video: “If you continue to let air run up your meter you’ll be at fault”. It seems insane to me that the customer would be responsible for a failure of APUA’s equipment so I hope that isn’t true.

  9. There’s a thing called a water air valve that will release the trapped air. It needs to be installed before the meter. I have heard that APUA will install it for you if you purchase it. They still need to sort out your bill though, especially since you have evidence.

    Why is this man who didn’t even live in Antigua get an article on his plight. These people don’t do anything to mitigate the drought we suffer from. How is it when there’s a problem they run to the media but in foreign they would never have the balls to do so.
