  1. how many months did they have to prepare for sid’s? we need to stop applauding people who are doing their normal job. we need to set our sights higher and stop accepting these mediocre actions as news worthy.

  2. Yes. These are patriots and all who contributed to making SIDS 24 the exemplary success that it will be must be properly recognised for their efforts. SIDS has brought out the best in us as a people. One planet, One eartn, One Caribbean, One Caricom, One OECS, One Antigua and Barbuda. Forward Ever Backward Never.

  3. They need to be this diligent for there own people.. this place is a joke .. we only make up our beds when we are having
Guests .. And the point they are having this meeting with all these top officials and we are drilling so close to our reefs, so hypocritical.. the problem is some of us are too scared to show criticism.. Albert Einstein QUOTES …”The world won’t be destroyed, by those who do evil, but by those who watch and do nothing”…

  4. “Water is running nicely off the road, right in the drains”.
Poster, if you can show me one drain on that road, I will give you 3 strands of the idiot Prime Minister mustache, guaranteed.
I hope when the APUA workers and them, God forbid get sick from being in the weather that they will get the same level of treatment from our health care authorities.

  5. There is nothing valiant about them working in the rain, that electricity manager had suddenly become friendly with them after treating them so bad promising double and triple time and we pay allowance, but when it’s all done they will be fighting to be paid. Those ministers took control of supervising the Apua crews.

  7. AIA linesman, you should not have had to sacrifice the risk of your life to do this! How long ago did we know Antigua was the venue? Yep! We love our APUA, men but we do no want them dead by risking their lives.! Too many of them have done that and nobody remembers!

  8. Nothing to be applauded about that , Us guys work hard all the time …. It’s only because SIDS deadline is approaching…..
2ndly….. I noticed that the streetlights from Ace Enterprise leading up to the stadium is also being work on and I bet is because of the upcoming T20…..
    Smh

  9. Thanks APUA…
And all we nationals & residents now expect similar service, no excuses or long talk needed from the Minister, ‘just do it – coz you clearly can when so directed.

  10. Imagine if the politician had them work and install safety measures like this for years for the locals and treat the locals like VIP and not only SIDS officials. Imagine if locals was as important to politicians after election time.
