If you want to win St. Mary’s South you’ll have to spend much, much more than the last time to get that pompous show off to win people are now recognizing the charade. Shuggy is a people person
Dwayne George will not win the seat , he is not a people’s person. ALP can pick up a seat or two with good candidates – St. George is a possible one , of course St.Peters will return labour, Bowen could loose as well. Think Randy Baltimore will hold off any challenger , plus he is a big money spender. Richard Lewis is in trouble even if he becomes UPP leader he is going to loose that seat. If UPP had stayed together as a unit they could have challenged to take the government. Now they are going to loose seats that they had gained grounds in and even loose a few. The only two seats I still believe UPP can firmly hold on to is All Saints East and St.Marys south.
Anthony Smith is not going to ever win All Saints West Seat don’t matter how hard he tries. All Saints West is a swing constituency. He is not a likable person, not a people person and not a genuine person. He is going to pay for swinging and not consulting with the constituents. Many independent voters, of which All Saints west of stocked will not vote for Anthony Smith a second time. He did not win the seat because of anything he did to gain votes. The people voted against Michael Browne. If you UPP gets a strong Candidate All Saints West is up for grabs. Medford should get some breathing ground with any new candidate going up against him , especially that UPP is at a crisis stage. The person that is taking over from Maulwin Joseph will have a fight. Jonathan was sure heading for victory but the disunity within the UPP party may stagnate him. Franz and Perl will not gain any ground for the same reason- Lack of unity within the UPP party. They are not bad candidates themselves but the parties weakening will affect them negatively.
