  14. I salute my Parliamentarian for St George, Hon Pringle et al. They took a firm and collective stance against totalitarianism by walking out of Parliament,signalling their stance against corruption.

    The Speaker is clearly not fit for purpose, he’s biased and is equally corrupt as the party that elected him to that position.

    The role of the Speaker is to ensures that order is maintained in the house, which includes all parties are given ample notice on bills for discussion. It is disgraceful that the Speaker allowed the ALP to present that Bill to Parliament. He demonstrated support to ALP with their efforts to blindside His Majesty’s opposition party.

    UPP should call for the resignation of the Speaker, he is incapable of being objective and unbiased.

  15. This was a serious piece of amendment to be added to the existing law. It can set new presidencies or set Antigua/Barbuda down a”slippery slope” as it related to yachts, pleasure crafts and even “home porting vessels docking in Antigua/Barbuda. The Prime Minister said the situation was urgent therefore needed responses and ideas from both sides of the “political divide” The Opposition shirked their responsibilities. Total dereliction of their duties.

  19. The boat is no longer insured. The captain has given his notice of abandonment what if boat catch a fire and burn other boats in the harbour? What if it sinks in Antigua Falmouth Harbour? Sailing week coming up…….
