The Old Point School in Point has been reduced to rubble in a devastating fire.
Fire crews from multiple stations responded to the blaze early Wednesday morning, but could not save the two-story wooden building.
The building, once home to the Ebenezer Primary School, had fallen into disrepair over the years and become a haven for vagrants.
The fire department is conducting a thorough investigation to determine the fire’s origin.
