A song on Lil Nas X’s Montero Album which was released today, ‘Tales of Dominica’ has placed a spotlight on the rapper’s alleged connection to the Nature Isle.
A Dominica News Page is reporting that the rapper’s father, Robert Stafford is actually from Dominica.
Nas was asked about the song when he appeared in a Breakfast Club interview and the host also had a Dominican father.
Nas X said he has’t been to Dominica but know it’s beautiful because he has seen pictures.
He said the song, Tales of Dominica, should not be mistaken with the Dominican Republic.
Lil Nas X was raised with ten siblings.
His dad is Stafford, is a gospel singer.
He does not have a close relationship with his mother, Shawnita Hathaway, whom his dad separated from when he was 5-years-old.
