    BOB.Q there are no assets to collect. The buses were not the assets of the defendants. They were donated to the government of South Korea to Antigua under a assistance program (KONICA) between both countries. Under a plan devised by Prime Minister Spencer and Ambassador Ashe, the buses were to be used by the parliamentary representatives to provide transportation to senior citizens in their respective constituencies. The buses could not leave the Transport Board unless they were insured and licensed by the defendants. That is all. To this day the defendants are not the owners of the buses. I understand because of discussions that Daniel had with Ambassador Ashe that he is personally claiming ownership of his bus. I totally disagree with that. The defendants facilitated the use of the buses in their constituencies. Two previous buses were registered by the Barbuda Council by Trevor Walker and the Hope Institute by Dr. Errol Court. There are no differences between that situation and the defendants other than who insured and licensed the buses. In the cases of the two buses it was done by legal entities and with respect to the defendants by themselves personally. Both methods facilitated the removal of the buses from the Transport Board. There is no illegality in either case.

    • Tenman, we first need an investigation into the conduct, or better yet, misconduct of the Member for St. Peter and ultimately, that of the member for St. John’s City West. We need to know more about the $ multimillions.

  6. The judge’s decision is final! However, curious minds would like to know
    1. Should the DPP appeals, on what grounds would he base his arguments on ?
    2. Were those buses maintained & fueled out of personal pockets or by the incumbent administration’s treasury?
    3. Were the purpose of the buses fully met or were they abused during the election time?
    4. Why would an ambassador, persoally choose to donate a bus to an individual? And
    5. Why were those persons single out to be offered such gifts?

  9. It’s a Strategic, one way or the other. It’s a message for sure. Me badder dan you maybe? This is where it is more important to play political games, it though off enough people. Oh, rest assured, Daniels is back in the political fray, he just told you that, and he is flexing. Those who are not distracted still want water and good internet. The youth still need jobs and resources. Nuff roads still have potholes. Still no plans for anybody to put a wheel chair ramp on the back of Lester Bird Hospital. Just more grandstanding this time from the other side of this “SO NOT IMPORTANT ISSUE”. The judge’s decision is final and no more money needs to be wasted. To me, it’s looks like somebody want fighting.

  10. THIS IS CORRUPTION.

    1 The investigators got it wrong, UPP lawyers exploited and won the case.

    2 That was not LAWFUL JUSTICE that was LEGAL JUSTICE.

    3There was no intent on the others to deprive the state oof its assets, except in the case of Daniel that went to claim that which was meant for the state. He turned the bus into an extension of his gentleman’s club (WHORE HOUSE) on lower Redcliff Street.

    4 I am disappointed that UPP knows the truth and is gloating to the point of collecting the busses on camera. Most unfortunate.

    DPP please import some investigators from Jamaica or Barbados gather new evidence and approach the case from a different angle.

    The facts in Daniel’s case is much different.

    Dr Spencer I know you know better. Surely one would not wish to see any of the three convicted, we are not all stupid to believe that slight of hand.

    IT IS CORRUPTION AND UPP KNOWS IT. Stop the gloating,…..It is instances like these why people give up on good governance.small or large the issue with those busses has an element of MISBEHAVIOR IN PUBLIC OFFICE. CORRUPTION.

      • If it is his bus did he pay any of the duties and other taxes that one must pay when importing a vehicle. Seeing y’all laughing and celebrating this out right corruption just show all politicians red blue green orange or whatever colour can do whatever they want and get away with it

        • He was a minister of government. Do government ministers pay duties and taxes on imported vehicles? I heard one minister just lifted his Mercedes over the port fence.

  15. They really have the nerve to claim the bus and video taping it? Now this is Ludacris….Didn’t think they should be prosecuted, however the after court actions show the bus belonged to him and was used for personal gains. Guessing the former PM authorized the transfer. The video just blows my mind. What do politicians think of the Masses? Wow!!!! We are doomed by politicians!
