  5. The UPP has been hosting the Independence Gala for many years under the management of Valerie Harris-Pole. It was never an awards dinner. So, yes this is new. I guess it has been introduced to encourage the ones who have been leading the charge in recent times, albeit all of the unfortunate subtractions.

  8. The UPP is trying hard to present an image of normalcy and unity. However, this is all smoke and mirrors. Unless and until they address head on the current problems of the Party, that Spencer and Harold were to weak to address, the Party will remain in the doldrums. When I think of the problems of the Party and the so-called astute and intelligent senior statesmen of the Party could not find a resolution, I am convinced that the Party is doomed to failure in the next general elections.

  9. @ Rita Brathwaite what D. Gisele Isaac needs to do is retire. She was also a political defector that benefitted more than anyone else from the UPP’s ten years in government. She is now a liability. She needs to call it a day as Harold has done for the good of the Party.

  15. Is D. Gisele Isaac a Dame? I heard Gaston on his show this evening saying that her Dame was revoked. If that is the truth why does she continue to allow people and her UPP colleagues to refer to her as Dame? If Gaston is telling the truth then I consider D. Gisele Isaac to be a comic and laughing stock of the country. Please Miss Isaac they like to say you have balls then act like you do and stop accepting Dame if you are not one. Stop making yourself a pappyshow.
