28-year-old Anthony Joseph from Fort Road is recovering in the hospital after being assaulted by an assailant wielding a machete on Monday afternoon.
According to Joseph, the attack occurred around 3 pm while he was walking to a supermarket with his girlfriend.
Two men exited a rented Toyota Vitz, with one of them using a machete to injure Joseph’s head and left hand.
The assailants, both residents of Fort Road, were apprehended and are now charged with wounding offenses.
