  1. Im jus glad he ddnt see or feel the need to shoot her…

Lord help these young men that refuse to come up with creative ideas besides robbing to help themselves and family.

    • WE ARE IN A STATE OF EMERGENCY. SO WHY ARE THE PEOPLE NOT BEING MORE ALERT AND GIVEN THE MECHANISMS TO OPERATE IN SUCH A STATE.

These are simple measures a good government should implement to protect the citizens. You extend the state of emergency. Please educate and equip the people in regards of how to operate in such a state.

When you enter a business place: you should be asked to remove any head covering and dark shades as you walk through the door. This is to allow the security camera to get a good snapshot of you. Then you can replace the head covering and dark shades.

Also, it may be necessary to remove the mask just for 2 seconds to allow the camera to do its job.
The police must know these basics skillset and educate the public.

When these simple measures are implemented, then we will not have these weak cowards roaming the place preying on innocent people.

    • They are not helping families. They steal to buy drugs. If they wanted to help their families they would find a job.

  2. Open the country just sunday dem want police to lock up the boys that caught the shark now look at this. Ppl have to survive so all i have to say is that be careful out their

  3. The heart of man is becoming more and more cruel and evil. No doubt about it.

To the people who carry out these devious acts of crime: I want you to know that you may think that you have escaped being caught, but my friends: CONSIDER YOUR LATTER END.

The life you live today will come back to haunt you soon.
You torment and scare people with your thievery, but what does it profit you?

A few dollars will not bring you any joy. Your life is messed up, my friends. Your mind is demonic. Hide behind the mask, but NO WAY CAN YOU HIDE FROM THE ALMIGHTY.

I know that you are reading this: There is hope for you. An ever-merciful Creator stretches out His hand of grace. Your latter end can be beautiful despite all that were done in the past.

I am calling on business owners to do more to protect themselves and employees. Security cameras are good, but you need to have someone always placed on the outside of your business compound, who can observe all traffic into and out of the business at all times and make quick decisions.

Also, in some Caribbean islands at this time of the pandemic, when you enter a business place; the security guard requires that you remove any head covering and dark shades. Also, you are asked to remove your mask for a few seconds so the security camera can get a quick video of your face.

We may need to become more security conscious as we continue to go through these times and implement similar measures.

Believe me: IT IS GOING TO GET WORSE.

But God is still in control and will end all this madness soon.

WORLD “CRYSIS”: TIME TO BE MORE ALERT IN A STATE OF EMERGENCY

  5. Our leaders has robbed us worse than that, we should condemn them as well not go out and Rob the ones that haven’t robbed us.

  6. This is a shame! Everyone is speaking about opening the country which will not reduce crime or address the increase in armed robbery. How about the child at the door that could have been a statistic? There are several crime prevention issues here: gun control, more police presence in the business district and good surveillance (which they had). This hold up occurred in the afternoon, not in the evening or later during the curfew. This is insane for such a small island.

    • @Adjunct Professor…acts like these will be increasing. All of the components are already in place.

  7. Criminals just changing their hours to adjust for curfew

And now the rest of us can’t even go shop in broad daylight.
    God help us.
Really wish they didn’t extend the state of emergency. I’m here dying mentally day by day from its strain, and with criminals changing their hours, now I have even more to worry about, and no mental space to cope.

This feels very hard and unfair.

Glad no one was physically injured.

We need to get a criminal compensation board. And also have better mental health services. Or do we just hope people can and will privately get their own therapy when these things happen.

The psyche of this place is going to be so changed after this extended state of emergency.

  8. What we need is proper shoes in the hands of business people. Is a different play field wen ya step to us and know seh we all have shoes too. Is a different play field when ya know we can return permanent sleeping pills too.

We need the necessary training for our business people and proper shoes for them all.
I believe in equality and justice for all.
I believe in a level play field.
I believe we all can achieve this with the help of the government since we would want to do this the legal way.

Question? “Do you think if this is achieved, a bandit/ robber/ thief/ big man/ lill boy/ skinny man/ short man/ tall man/ fat man/ chi chi man/ strange man/ will willingly want to run that risk of pulling dem old shoes inna middle day?” Me will lob fa see dah man deh….

  9. The UPP has gotten it wrong once again, the country is indeed in a state of emergency. Decreased revenue, with no solution, creates desperation, which results in mayhem.

Seems as if the government is creating the condition to justify there state of emergency.

Social beings are locked into their homes or face a fine or jail time.
Frustration sets in creating increased domestic violence, robberies etc.

lack of adequate sustained social programs for the citizenry.

Yep definite making of a state of emergency.

  10. It’s time for business owners to start shooting these thieves. A dead thief will never steal again.

    • Exactly!

Before you try that sh*t with me, stand outside and get right with the lord. Tell him you’re on your way!
